The dual study course means the study and practical phases alternate around every three months. You complete the theory stages at HWR Berlin and the practical stages at one of our locations.
Theory and practice
We work with the HWR Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht in Berlin (Berlin School of Economics and Law) to teach theoretical knowledge.

Further information on the study programme and its structure can be found on the website of the HWR Berlin.
During the practical training, you can expect demanding tasks and diverse challenges. You will be able to directly apply and expand on the knowledge you have acquired in your studies.
Technical accommodation service
You are the key point of contact for all our customers’ queries. When defects are reported, you are responsible for planning how to deal with them. In doing so, you are responsible not only for handling the tendering process and invitations, but also for awarding contracts to external providers. You also get an insight into exciting projects such as the last section of plumbing and wiring or lift modernization.
Commercial accommodation service
You’re up close to the property – holding viewings and taking charge of quality assurance in residential complexes. On the whole, you have frequent customer contact, for instance, in tenant consultation hours or correspondence with our clients and partners.
Accounting
All data on business activity is recorded here and is used as a basis for future decision-making. You will prepare document postings and execute postings yourself. Creating monthly, quarterly and annual statements will also be part of your remit.
Rent management (including receivables management)
All things rent-related: discover how utility bills and rent rises are drawn up. In receivables management, you’ll find out all there is to know about payment reminders and overdue notices, helping you explain payment due dates to customers.
Technical project management
Here, your creativity knows no bounds: you’ll work with architects and engineers, helping them to modernize residential units and plan construction of new ones. You’ll learn how to commission, monitor and accept building works, making a major contribution to neighbourhood development and design.
Sales
The figures count: in sales, you’ll learn all there is to know about the buying and selling process, all the way through to notarization. Discover and develop your flair for figures by helping with property analyses and valuations and learning how to assess investment decisions. As well as working in the office, you’ll also visit plenty of properties.
