The first GEHAG Forum exhibition in 1988 was conceived in his honour. The exhibition was held in a colourful residential building in Dahlewitz, south of Berlin, that he designed himself. Many artists have presented their work at the GEHAG Forum ever since.

Our aim today, as it was back then, is to provide a platform for a variety of works of modern art and bring it closer to visitors, customers and staff. As well as architectural works, we exhibit paintings, etchings, drawings, sculpture and video art.

What's on the GEHAG Forum

The GEHAG Forum is exhibiting works by Ellen Keusen, Lutz Koebele-Lipp, Eva-Maria Schön, Bernhard C. Striebel and Nanaé Suzuki.

In art, there is no such thing as a simple either/or. Exhibitions and museums bring together all kinds of very different attitudes, perspectives and modes of expression. Even within a single work of art, different media, forms and cultural elements may meet and mix. Seeing is always an interplay between multilayered material.
