We like to get involved in the places we know best: the cities and neighbourhoods where we work. Amid all these efforts, encouraging new talent is particularly important to us. At Deutsche Wohnen, we don’t just want to be a sponsor – but a real partner. Accordingly, most of our partnerships are built for the long term. This builds trust and a solid foundation for collaboration.
Deutsche Wohnen has been the exclusive PLATINUM partner of the Füchse Berlin handball club since July 2016. As a Bundesliga team, the Füchse live and breathe passion and team spirit. And we’re cheering along on the sidelines. We are placing the focus of our long-term partnership on strong and sustainable work with youth and new talent.
In November 2021, we announced our new partnership with 1. VfL Potsdam. From 2022, Deutsche Wohnen is the main sponsor of the men’s 3rd league handball team. The focus of our handball commitment is quite evidently encouraging new talent. In the years to come, the Füchse Berlin and 1. VfL Potsdam hope to build the Berlin-Brandenburg youth development centre. Deutsche Wohnen is here to help.
As the shirt sponsor for ASV Dachau’s men's volleyball first team, Deutsche Wohnen is stepping in early: as a modern, sustainable and future-forward neighbourhood is set to take shape on the site of the former paper factory in Dachau in the years to come. We’re supporting ASV Dachau with its ambitious goal to return to the 2nd Bundesliga. From there, the club aims to return to the top flight. Now that's what we call fighting spirit!
Taking part in the Olympic Games is a dream for most athletes. In Berlin, the athletes from the national women’s scull team have been training to achieve this since November 2018. Deutsche Wohnen has helped and supported the team ever since then on its journey to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, as “Official Partner” of the Olympic Training Centre in Berlin (OSP) and “Official Title Partner” of the German Rowing Association’s “Women’s Scull Team”. The sporting achievements these women rack up alongside their work, training and studies is awe-inspiring. So we’ve extended our partnership to late 2022. We tailor our support to the rowers’ needs. This means our main contribution is training equipment, a team bus, nutritional advice and financial support aimed at helping the athletes attain maximum sporting success.
