The properties, which consist of a front and a rear building, comprise 41 state-subsidised flats, a commercial unit and 20 parking spaces in a basement garage. There is also a day-care facility for children on the site.

In the recent past, Deutsche Wohnen has sold a number of holdings in Berlin to municipal housing corporations. For example, at the end of 2019 degewo purchased approximately 2,100 flats from Deutsche Wohnen. Moreover, a short time ago Deutsche Wohnen agreed the sale of a high-rise block with over 120 flats and an adjoining plot of land in Berlin-Kreuzberg to gewobag, which is a municipal housing corporation as well.

All the tenants will be informed in writing about the change of ownership. The change will not have any impact on the tenancy situation of the residents.
