Manuela Damianakis to leave Deutsche Wohnen
Deutsche Wohnen SE and Manuela Damianakis, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Communication & Public Affairs, have decided to part company. For ten years, Manuela Damianakis was the spokesperson for the company, during which time she also built up the Public Affairs area of her remit. She reported directly to the head of the Management Board.
Michael Zahn, CEO of Deutsche Wohnen SE: “During the past ten years, Manuela Damianakis has accompanied and helped to shape Deutsche Wohnen on its journey to becoming one of the leading publicly listed property companies in Europe. With her hard work and commitment, she has made a significant contribution to our being able to achieve our ambitious goals. I have complete understanding for her wish at this time to look for a new direction in her career. She has earned the sincere gratitude of the company and the entire board. Ms Damianakis is leaving the company of her own volition and on entirely amicable terms. I regret her departure and wish her all the very best for the future.”
