Berlin, 21.02.2020

As Konstantin Büttner, director of the Berlin Handball Association, explains, ”We are delighted to have acquired Deutsche Wohnen as a cooperation partner. We now want to join forces to support both male and female handball players in Berlin.”

During the finals of the youth cup in Berlin’s Horst Korber Sports Centre from 1 to 2 May 2020, Deutsche Wohnen will present itself for the first time as an official partner of the Berlin Handball Association.

As Michael Zahn, CEO of Deutsche Wohnen, points out, “By becoming a partner of the Berlin Handball Association, we are strengthening our involvement with youth development in handball here in the capital. We are particularly committed to supporting young players. This is work that we are doing with the Berlin Füchse, and now with the Berlin Handball Association as well.”

Since 2016, Deutsche Wohnen has been an exclusive partner of the national league club Berlin Füchse. As the official main kit sponsor of the club, the Berlin property company focuses, in particular, on in-depth and sustainable youth development work in handball in what is a long-term partnership. This commitment is now being continued and strengthened through Deutsche Wohnen’s partnership with the Berlin Handball Association.
