The development

This development, built in 1999/2000 on the outskirts of the residential area of Kronsberg, was built as a development for Expo 2000 trade fair guests.

The four-storey buildings are home to one-to-four-room apartments with a range of different layouts. The ground-floor apartments have large terraces, while all other apartments have balconies. Almost every apartment has an additional balcony from the kitchen. Underground car parking is available in the basement.

The neighbourhood

Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony, is found in the Tal der Leine, bordering the North German Plain. With the motorways A 2, Berlin–Dortmund, and A 7, Flensburg–Kempten, two key motorways pass by Hanover directly. Renowned companies such as TUI, Bahlsen, Siemens and HDI have major sites here. In the Eilenriede, one of Europe’s biggest city parks, Hanover offers a huge recreational landscape in the middle of the city, with plenty of ponds and the famous Maschsee lake. The Lüneburger Heide and Steinhuder Meer are also within easy reach. With the Medical School, International Neurological Institute and many other outstanding medical facilities, Hanover’s residents receive excellent care. In terms of restaurants, shopping facilities, hotels and cultural institutions, such as the opera house and several theatres, Hanover offers everything a big city needs.

The development is in direct proximity to the local centre of Kronsberg, with shopping facilities, banks, medical practices and pharmacies. There are also nurseries and a school within walking distance. The A 37, the Messeschnellweg trade fair urban motorway, is two minutes away. The city centre can be reached by S-Bahn rail line S6 in around 20 minutes. The Krügerskamp S-Bahn stop is just five minutes’ walk away.
