Secure access with two-factor authentication

Especially sensitive data, such as your personal tenant data, also requires special care. That’s why we protect your data with two-factor authentication straight away.

That means that in addition to your password, there is a second security request to confirm your identity.

You can choose between different methods: either request a confirmation code via SMS or authenticator app or confirm your login with a telephone call. This helps offer additional protection for digital services against unauthorised access.

If you’d like to register for DeuWo Digital, you need a valid email address and a telephone or smartphone for authentication. Please also have your contract number to hand in order to complete registration. Following successful registration, you can send us your enquiry online.

Once you have registered, you will be sent a one-time code in the post, which you’ll need to activate all functions.

You can access our digital customer service via your browser on any device.

The security of your data is our top priority. Accordingly, we want to make sure that no unauthorised third parties gain access to your user data and account functions. The verification process helps us achieve this.

Here’s how it works: once you’ve registered successfully, you can log into DeuWo Digital straight away and send us your repair requests and enquiries regarding all aspects of your home online.

However, in order to access sensitive account information or make adjustments to utility bill advance payments, another security step is required: one-time verification. Within a few working days of registration, we’ll send you a one-time code in the post, which you can enter after logging in on the home page. Once the code has been entered, your account is activated and you have unlimited access to all functions and information.

Once you’ve registered successfully, you’ll automatically receive a letter with the one-time code.

Please note that it may take a few days to arrive. If you still haven’t received a one-time code, you can request a new code when you log into DeuWo Digital on the home page via the link “Enter one-time code”.

This means two different security components (i.e. two factors) are used to confirm your identity. This helps offer additional protection for digital services against unauthorised access. It sounds complicated at first, but it’s very secure and will soon become part of your everyday routine.

You can also choose between different methods, so the new security procedure suits your preferences. For the second factor, you can either request a verification code via SMS, perform authentication over a telephone call or use an authenticator app. Then enter the verification code from the second device (such as your smartphone) into the form – and you’re logged in. You are also free to change your second factor in your user account the next time you log in.

If you’ve forgotten your password, click on “Forgotten password” on the login form. Once you have entered a verification code that you are then sent by email, you can set a new password.

Have you forgotten which email address you used to log in? First of all, have another look for “Verification code for DeuWo Digital” in your inbox. Ideally, you should find an email with the old verification code for the email address that you registered with.
